Tap into your inner artist with fine craft beer, great food, and creative company. Miss the joy of creating paper snowflakes in the summer? Create your own Hanging Kirigami decoration using a technique similar to creating paper snowflakes. Kirigami, or the art of paper cutting, is a variation of origami that includes cutting of the paper, rather than solely folding the paper as is the case with origami, uses a single sheet of paper, and typically does not use glue. Simple Kirigami are usually symmetrical, such as snowflakes, pentagrams, or orchid blossoms. Come and find out and experiment in a free, open, and playful environment for adults with support, advice, and light instruction from local artist, Carrie Turner.

This outreach event is for all adults 21 and up with any/no art experience and is free of charge! Art on Tap is generously sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. James and Joan Cameron and Family, the Zanesville Museum of Art, Ohio Arts Council, and Weasel Boy Brewing.
