Zanesville in the Details is a photo journey of the city taken by Times Recorder Photographer Christopher Crook. Harking back to photojournalism from the 1950s, Crook shot one photo a day for 500 days, focusing on buildings and street scenes like photos he had seen in the newspaper’s archives. His show includes four framed pieces and four collages of some of the details he found on his journey.

The show opens at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at Weasel Boy Brewing Co., 126 Muskingum Ave. Crook will be on hand to talk about his work and music will be provided by Julie Keirle.During the opening, the person who correctly identifies the highest number of locations pictured in the four collages will receive a $50 Weasel Boy gift certificate. The show will remain in place through the end of August.
