Captured Essence Paintings
As a child, one would always find me with a pencil in hand, sketching and doodling every chance I got. As years went on, I began using colored pencil and pastels. I enrolled in and enjoyed evening classes at CCAD, but it was oil paints that I truly fell in love with during my studies in Canal Winchester under the teachings of renowned Artist and instructor, Robert Warren. It was there that i learned and enjoyed mixing colors, creating light, and bringing depth and harmony to the oil paintings.
It is and always will be my goal to capture the essence of that which I am portraying on the canvas, be it landscape, florals, portraits, or still life art. I have also had the pleasure of illustrating a published children book which was a true delight. I love taking the viewers eyes on a journey that intrigues the mind and enlightens the soul.
More recently, my art quest has taken me in new directions, as I explore the world of abstract and non objectional forms. Now creating new depths, and expanding your visual experience through the layering of texture and colors creating more energy and spontaneity with every brush stroke. I am so blessed to share my art creations with you.
