A uniquely tasteful event will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Weasel Boy Brewery Company. Learn the practical uses and healing powers of fermented foods in this hands-on workshop with Jenny Eby.

Many tasty, everyday foods we consume are fermented, including coffee, chocolate, beer, yogurt, sauerkraut, and bread. There will be a discussion about the amazing health benefits of this powerful ancient art while learning how to prepare home-made sauerkraut.
The event is donation-based, with the proceeds benefiting a local food hub, Foodworks Alliance.

Bill Huston, president of Foodworks Alliance, will speak about the organization’s community involvement and support of locally grown food. This will be a great time to get together with friends and family while they're in town for the holidays.

Sauerkraut will be available to take home in 9.5 ounce glass jars provided by presenter, 1-2 jars a person. If more is wanted, attendees are asked to bring their own container to fill. There will be plenty to go around!
